Cookies and localStorage are different
Cookies are small browser-held values that may be sent with requests to a matching website. localStorage is browser storage accessible to scripts on the same origin and is not automatically attached to ordinary web requests. Both can persist beyond a page visit, depending on their settings and your browser controls.
What the site’s own code does
The static reading pages and their navigation do not set cookies. The site script does not include analytics, advertising or cross-site tracking. Opening a menu, revealing a section and preparing a contact note use temporary page state rather than persistent records.
The preference reset button below can remove a localStorage entry named trovebiscuitradr-cookie-preference. The site’s own script does not create that entry or treat it as authorization to run tracking. If a separately installed consent service is displayed, its own controls and disclosures govern the choices it records.
| Function | Location | Persistence |
|---|---|---|
| Navigation and reveals | Current page memory | No deliberate persistent storage |
| Prepared contact text | Current page and form | Not saved by the site; browser restoration may apply |
| Clipboard Copy | Device clipboard | Controlled by your device and other applications |
| Blob Download | Your chosen download location | Remains until you delete it |
| Preference reset | One named localStorage entry | Removes the entry if it exists |
Hosting and browser features
Your browser may cache site files to improve loading. Hosting infrastructure may have separate security or delivery features. This static code does not enumerate storage introduced by a hosting provider or a separately deployed consent layer. Any such feature should be described by its relevant deployment notice and controls.
Browser settings can usually display and delete site data, block cookies and control clipboard permissions. Clearing site data may also remove preferences held by a separately installed consent service. It does not delete files you downloaded or clear every device’s clipboard.
Cookie preferences
No optional tracking is enabled by this site’s own script. You can clear the named site preference key below, or use your browser’s site-data settings for broader removal. If a consent overlay is present, use its controls to change choices managed by that service.
